Psychic Advice

Every where I have turned on the T.V. this week has been about giving.  American Idol’s two hour show was outstanding about giving.  Oprah does something weekly about giving.  MSN instant messenger has come up with a new way to give. 

A friend and I have looked at what we do in giving.  Is there more to do.  Yes, there is.  Daily giving is a tithing to all.  What have you given today?  Amazing how smiling at a stranger can be a small simple giving but does so much.  Wouldn’t be wonderful to see every one smiling all the time.  Some times we let things get in the way of our smiles.  Giving the children of the world is one of the biggest ways to give.  For a few dollars it is amazing what one person can do to give.  Our food banks are full at the holidays but what about the rest of the year.  Think how wonderful it would be that every time you go shopping you buy $2.00 of can food and what that can do to feed the youngsters of America.  These are the kind of conversations that my friend and I have had the past few days.  Really makes one think about how much they stretch a dollar to help someone else.  My Friend makes blankets for the homeless.  She gives away at least fifteen each year to the food bank.  She takes care of children and are also teaching them the giving.  They help with the blankets.
