Grandchildren - April 5, 2007

How quickly a week can go by with a visiting grand daughter.  No wonder parents do not feel like they have accomplished.  Always a teaching process going on.  Don’t get me wrong I am enjoying every moment of her visit.  The hats have to change off and all day.  Especially if there are things they want to teach or you want to teach.  Doesn’t make any difference whether it is children or grand children.

Today was a shopping outing before being home for work.  After four hours I am ready to drop and she keeps going.  All the getting ready for Easter is fun to watch her do all the things she wants to make happen.    Of course with me answering many questions on the way through the day.

I am so thanksful for so many more things through the eyes of the child.  Reminds me to let my child out.  We gain so much when we let our own child out.  The child is there, some times takes practice to bring it back forth.

I am thanksful for my truck to get me around shopping and running errands.  Thankful all the many things I have in my home that I enjoy and use every day.  That I don’t need or want I get rid of.  I am thankful for my decorator sense.  Always enjoy adding and detracting from my decoration.  Moving things around.  Thankful for all of my creature comforts.  Thankful for Easter and the reminders of what God and Christ are all about.  Thankful they live in my heart always.  Thankful for prayer.

Happy Easter in case I do not get to weblog/blog until next week because of the busy weekend with family ahead.  Very thankful for my family.

Patti
