Weekends - April 15, 2007

Written by patti on Monday, April 16th, 2007 in Thoughts.

Weekends always go by so fast.  Not always sure what they are filled with but a refreshing time for the work week.  Rained all of Friday night into Saturday morning.  Didn’t think I would get out side at all to work on the yard.  Once the rain quit the Saturday was warm and friendly to be outside but I made other plans.

Today was sunny and even warmer so did accomplish some preparation for planting flowers.  Filled the day with some friendly visits with people also.  Amazing how the sunshine brings people outside.

Ready to start my work week after a good night sleep.  Some times I don’t know what I look forward to the most, my weekends or my work which I so love.

I am thankful for all the people I know and meet.  Thankful for dogs romping in the back yard.  Thankful for the pets watching over me.  Thankful for the things in life that make life easy for me.  Thankful for my computer.  Thankful for the telephone which helps me communicate with so many.

Have a sweet day!

Always something to do - April 13, 2007

Written by patti on Saturday, April 14th, 2007 in Thoughts.

Today, like all days I can find something to do.  Off work today so decided to do errands which led me to visit with my Aunt and Uncle.  This always goes into our usual conversation about genealogy.  He is 82 and she is 87.  Can’t tell either are their age.  Through my Uncle who is the family I have learned much about that side of the family.

Many times I ask myself why I am so interested in all the family history.  I have found out a lot about myself by doing the genealogy from a young age.  Some times it has brought up ghosts I didn’t want to know and other times it has brought closure to things I knew about but didn’t make sense.

I have a very large family which many are have gone on to heaven.

About four years ago my grandmother, mother of my Uncle and my mom kept coming to me.  I didn’t want to pay any attention to her messages because I was not very fond of her.  (through this time I understand a lot more of why I wasn’t fond of her).  Always thought it was because I wasn’t her favorite like my sister.  I finally started listening to the messages.  It was all presieging finding more relatives.  Some of this has been very interesting but some of it very emotional.  All to do with my Uncle who died as a POW in World War II.  Found that he left three children that the family didn’t know about.  Also found out how he died.  This caused a chain of reality and closure for many people.

Talking to the ghosts of family can have it’s payoffs and rewards.  I know it is worthwhile to hear what the ghosts have to say.

Many of you will say you can’t hear them.  If you listen closely you can.  Some times they will give you an action to do that will direct what they are saying to you.  Some times it is they are sending love because you need it at the time.  They are your angels so do listen to them.

This day of something to do paid off.  Listening to divine direction takes anyone to some action that is of great reward or answers of awareness.  Another way of knowing thy self.  Most importantly is knowing thy self.  The beautiful inner spirit that speaks to us all the time.

Thank you for all who read my weblog.  Many thanks to the guidance I get each day.  Always thankful for my work and the beautiful clients that come to me. Today in my doings I was thankful for nice weather and I was in and out of the truck a lot.  Thankful for the people who served me where ever I went.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Have Fun

Plenty To Do - April 9, 2007

Written by patti on Wednesday, April 11th, 2007 in Thoughts.

Time to catch up the weblog/blog after a day of catching up paper work.  No matter how I have done the Psychic business there is always paper work.

A friend called me recently and asked me what I was doing?  I was on the phone, told her I would call her right back.  When I did a few minutes later I said, “I was doing what I do best, talking on the phone”.  I can be on the phone with clients and friends forever but when it comes to paper work I procrastinate big time.  The paper work can be paying the bills for the month or answering pertinent papers that come in and I will still put it off until the last minute.

I’ve done everything to put the paper work in an easier manner and still procrastinate.  If I could I would hire someone to do them.  Always papers that need my attention so won’t work.  Have been putting everything to a better way to make it even less time which has helped.

Being two days after Easter which I did get some of a break with my grand daughter being here I am getting back into the every day ok.  Her laughter and fun made it real hard to work some days.

Weather was good enough that my son helped me with some much needed yard work that I couldn’t do.  So glad it is over and the planting can go on.

Ate way to much on the Easter weekend but always make it ok to eat more on the holidays because they do not come that often.  Left overs have been great.  We opted not to have the usual ham and had Salmon instead.  My son had come up with a new way to bar-b-q that was awesome.  Good time.

Off to finish the paper work.

Have an outstanding day.
