Psychic Advice

I have not always known giving to be a subject.  It has always been a way of life to me and joy to do it.  Interesting all the talk on “Oprah” that she does about giving and how many very wealthy people she has on her show that are always giving or tithing to something.  Think if the whole world would be that way.  How joyous the smiles and the hellos where ever you go.  I can think of many things to do to give to.  Time does not always allow it so I have my definite givings that just come natural and then some specifics.

One of the ones I love to do is take magazines to the elderly home.  I also send subscriptions of the “Daily Word to elderly homes and to friends.  Always such a joy.  Some times I wish I could meet all that receive them.  I recycle clothes which is always dear to my heart.  I know some that I give to, some I have no idea where they go.  I always know someone can use them.

One of my most happy books that landed in my hands as a gift from a friend is “The Game of Life and How to Play it”.  Learned so much about how words play such an important part of our life.  Now there is a new book out called “The Secret”.  From friends who have read both they say their are a lot of similiarties.  As time allows I will read “The Secret” then I will know.

What a glorious Monday this was.  Full of interesting things to do and clients who were smiling by the time they got off the phone.

I am thankful for the sunshine, the water that waters all of my plants and newly planted flowers.  Thankful for my ventures of the day.  Thankful for the good rest I get when I need it.  Thankful for the mail person who delivers my mail.  Thankful for all the people who help keep my  housing running the way I want.  The T.V., water people, the city and I live in, street sweepers and many more.

What a weekend.  Topped off with a Sunday afternoon at Burger King for lunch, then a couple of hours at Walmart.  Walmart super store is quite an education of what can be done in abundance, people and saving money.  Especially learning some of the products that I do not find at other stores. 

So many of the products that are Walmart products I have found to be really, really good or really bad.  Mostly on the good side.  Then pricing for the best price brings a whole different challenge.  I really enjoy it.  Especially when I find a good sale.

I have challenged myself this year to buy Christmas presents all through out the year instead of waiting until Christmas and doing it all.  Have quite a stash going already.  I always like to do the shopping at Christmas time because the ideas come to me quicker.  Now I will have my own super store to chose from in my closet to make the choices.  More fun than trying to save the money until then.  With four children and eight grandchildren and friends to to buy for it is not easy to do the don’t find the sales.  Sure finding the sales now.  I love the buying spirit of Christmas.  Want to give everyone a gift. 

Back to Walmart.  People really intrigue me a lot when I am shopping.  Have to keep my psychic mind in check as I would not want to read every one I come in contact with.  Do enjoy the friendliness of everyone when shopping.  The small aisles and getting the baskets around sure can make for a lot of meetings of people.  I call it doing the shopping cart dance.  Gets everyone laughing.  So much fun can be made out of nothing.

Thankful for a wonderful weekend.  Thankful for spending most of Saturday in my bathrobe.  Something I haven’t done for a long, long time.  Thankful for the friend that I spent four hours on the phone with enjoying all the talk from politics to what our week was like.  Thankful for my patient furry friends when I am so busy. 

Little Gunny is going in and out of the Doggie door to let me know it is bed time.

Every day is good.  Sometimes we just have to look for the good.  Today was one of those days where I didn’t have to look for the good.  Every part of this day the good just seemed to show up.  Good people.  Good food.  Good news in the mail.  Good news meetings of people.  The list seemed to be endless.  I like it when it appears so well.  Being in the moment helps.  Not being in yesterday or tomorrow.  Right here in the now. 

Is that easy to do not always.  So many things can scatter us into everything but what we see in front of ourselves.  Handling one thing at a time keeps us in the now.  Is it easy?  Not always.  The way to stay in the now is to focus on the task at hand or the person who were with now.  Amazing how others will wait when they realize you are focused on what is right in front of you.  Do it.  You will see how it works.

Multi-tasking isn’t always as good as people think because you lose the context of the person you are with.  Do not always hear everything the person is saying.  Who you are with should feel important.  Then important things happen and you do not miss opportunities.

When I first started doing this weblog/blog I had no thoughts others were reading what I wrote.  Once I realized they were my whole writing shifted to how important others and myself are. 

Thank you for all clients who call me.  Thank you for the air I breathe everyday.  Thank you for the beauty of the mountains I see.  Thank you for all the spring colors that show me the world is so colorful.  Thank you for the love I feel with people.  Thank you for all the happy things that happen each day.  Thank you for showing myself when I mistrust.  Thank you for everyone that visits my weblog/blog.
