Tueday A.M. April 3, 2007

Written by patti on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2007 in Thoughts.

My days seem to be a little mixed up this week as my Grand Daughter is visiting.  She has been with me a lot since born.  More years on the Psychic line than her age.  I will say she keeps me busy at every spare moment.  Always fun to listen to her chatter and questions.  Her time is spring break which she does take very well.  Changes her hours to go with mine and sleeps in longer than I being a night worker.  Every moment is interesting.  Fun part to is she loves to cook and help out in the kitchen.  Gives me a break.

As usual enjoying the various callers  on the Psychic Line.  People always bring such interesting questions.

This is short tonight.  Must be in on my toes for the little one when I am not working.   My thank you list is endless when she is with me.

I am thankful for all her questions.  Seeing things  thru her eyes.  The laughter we share.  The romping with Gunny and Jonesy she does.  Spending time with her cat who lives with me (long story).  The nice weather to work in my garage sorting and getting rid of things with her help.

Have A nice day.  Take the time to do your Thank you list.

Child Day - March 31, 2007

Written by patti on Sunday, April 1st, 2007 in Thoughts.

My grand daughter with my son arrived last evening.  Wow - what a day we had today.  We were invited to friends home.  What a delightful surprise.  My son went with us, stayed for a while and then traveled back to Western Washington.  Grand daughter staying for spring break.

Friends are only about ten minutes from me.  They kept saying through the past year I would have to come to see their home in the spring.  We arrived to find gardens around their home with over 10,000 daffodil bulbs all in bloom.  Awesome site.  Every place I looked there were more flowers.  Forsythia, roses, tulips just peeking out.  Yard art every where.  Bird feeders swarming with sparrows, gold finches and quail running through the yard with their babies.  What a show.  The weather was great and about the time we left it started clouding up and soon it poured rain.

Friends even treated us to his home made soup while we were there.

Friends we’re in yesterday’s newspaper.  People kept coming all day to see their beautiful gardens.  All the meeting of people, some I already knew, and the new ones kept the day also cheery.

When I arrived my little grand daughter was worn out.  Found her another set of grandparents.  They were delighted with her.  Kept her busy finding different things to do to follow them around.  He took her off to see the little owl peeking out of it’s nest.  As we were leaving a hawk was flying in all it’s grace.

The beauty of self shines when in the wonderful gardens people grow with all God’s touches to go with it.

I am so thankful for such a wonderful day.  The food I ate.  The friendliness of everyone.  I am thankful for my grand daughter being with me.  Thankful for all the wonderful sharing.  Thankful for the truck I own which gets me to where I want to go.  Thankful for loving people.  Thankful for my home after a delightful day to escape into my world of thought about the whole day.

Hugs to everyone.  It was such a nice huggy day.

New date was busy, busy - March 28, 2007

Written by patti on Friday, March 30th, 2007 in Thoughts.

I might of wanted a day of sleep but it didn’t happen because doggies woke me up and then a telephone call.  Oh well, maybe some day soon.

All of the day was worth the accomplishments though.  Getting ready for my grand daughter to spend a week with me.  She keeps me laughing and on with what is next.  Eleven years old and full of vim and vigor.  Always something to do each day whether I want to or not.  She was raised with my work and sits quitely in the back ground while I do my work.  Usually gets a deck of cards and plays with them.  I think she will be a great psychic some day.  Taught by me I know she will be great.  Still plenty to teach her.

She loves to cook (taught by me) so know she will do a lot of the cooking this week.  Can’t wait for her to bake cookies.  The good thing is, she likes to make deserts but could care less about them.  Unusual for 11 years old.  I started her cooking when she was about nine.  Her dad was a little younger.  By five he had learned all my recipes.  Cooking came easy to him.  Not the trade he ended up in though.

Looking forward to what tomorrow brings.  That always tells me that I am at the end of a day which was good.   Had some private thought time by my pond today.  Reflections were so wonderful.

I am so thankful for the world of wonderful family, friends and neighbors I have.  Thankful for living in a nice quiet neighborhood where it is safe for people to walk, go to the parks and play.  And the sports park close by.  Spring comes and it seems like everyone is out in the Sunshine shaking off the winter.  Thankful for my health every day.  Thankful for the computer which brings me lots of contact.  Still like the phone and the voices the best.

Good night or good day when ever this is read.

God’s Blessings be with everyone.

Patti
