General musings on the past week

Slowly, I’m catching up to a few things.  Miss Thing, my youngest cat has an appointment with the mobil vet on June 19th.  She is being neutered.  Unfortunately, our local vet is not someone I would trust to perform surgery on any of my furry kids.  A lot of us feel that way. The Humane Society of my county has top notch vets, it’s also 30 minutes away and I’d have to go there twice in one day.  I am so grateful they’re bringing the vets to me.  I’ll have 2 one minute drives, Miss Thing has never travelled.  She was born in my house and has not been out of it in her life.  She transfered from my room-mate’s room to my portion of the house (actually she transfered herself).  I don’t need to be psychic to know this is going to be one noisy ride.  My pocket garden is just about finished and I really like the way it looks.  I finally learned how to take proper care of roses and my favorite bush has twenty buds on it.  Yes, I check it daily…. I found miniature sun flowers that branch… I check them daily also and they do seem to take forever to open.  I have also been working on fixing my deck.  At this point, I seem to get more muscle aches gardening and working on the deck than I do weight lifting.  Last week, I enjoyed my work even more than usual.  I got great feed-back from clients I had not read in a while and read some incredibly interesting and nice people.  On top of that, all the readings felt easy to do.  I seemed to have more than the usual number of “I had no idea what I was talking about, but the client did” readings.  I have learned that I’m not the one who needs to understand the reading, so I just give what I get.   Until next time….
